This industry-leading cold water pressure booster set incorporates two state-of-the-art pumps, two E-series variable speed pump controllers, a 24-litre pressure vessel, brass nickel-plated ball valves, stainless steel manifolds and fittings, a glycerine filled pressure gauge and custom made, powder-coated base plate.
This water pressure booster set is designed to increase the pressure of the water services within a building where the existing incoming mains or feed tank is not capable of supplying sufficient water pressure.
This twin pump booster set is arranged for operation as a duty pump, with an assist pump. Both are programmed to run in a staged cascade operation as the flow demand increases and similarly as demand decreases.
The Booster Pumps
These state-of-the-art WRAS approved pumps are built to last. Thick sheet metal casing, high-quality bearings and stainless steel, guarantees a long service life.
Thanks to their premium build quality the pumps have a low noise level (even at peak performance) a compact design and are extremely energy-efficient, giving you much lower operating costs.
The Pump Controllers
The incorporated E-Series variable speed pump controllers continually vary the pumps motor speeds to match the changing flow demand pattern, whilst maintaining constant system pressure. This mode of operation, adjusting the pumps’ motor speeds to the building’s flow requirements, reduces the power consumption and extends the pumps’ life dramatically.
The pumps controllers are mounted in the discharge pipework of each pump. The body is constructed from a techno-polymer suitable for potable water applications. They have an LCD display to indicate system overview and operating parameters. Complete with dry running, over temperature and over current protection and alarms.
